Remove rear blower
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DEACTIVATE VEHICLE-SPECIFIC HIGH-VOLTAGE OR LOW-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE REAR CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CARPET ON THE CENTER CONSOLE ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ARMREST STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER CONSOLE TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE KNEE PAD ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER ARMREST .
- Refer to REMOVING CUP HOLDER .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CENTER CONSOLE .
- Refer to REMOVING THE FRONT STORAGE COMPARTMENT .
- Disengage cable (1) at the cable brackets (2).
- Put the cable (1) to one side.
- Detach air ducts (1) at the bottom on the rear blower (2) and feed out through the guides (3) to the top.
- Connect plug (1).
- Position the interior antenna (2) correctly and slide in the arrow direction until the detent (3) engages.
- Unlock and disconnect connector (1) for the rear blower.
- Disengage cable (2) with the cable brackets (3) and set aside.
- Loosen screws (1).
- Make sure that the threaded plates that are located opposite of each other for the screws (1) do not release from the center console (3).
- Feed out the rear blower (2) from the air duct (arrows) and remove from the center console (3).
