Remove the center console trim
Preliminary work
- Refer to DEACTIVATING THE 48 V ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to DEACTIVATE VEHICLE-SPECIFIC HIGH-VOLTAGE OR LOW-VOLTAGE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM .
- Refer to REMOVING THE CARPET ON THE CENTER CONSOLE ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT SIDES .
- Refer to REMOVING THE KNEE PAD ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .

- Protect working area.
- Handle tools and components carefully.
NOTE:
Perform the steps on the right and left side.
- Release the screws (1) on center console trim (2).
- Lever out the center console trim (1) without
tool set on the rear and left from the clamps (2).
- Slightly lift the center console trim (1) at the rear.
- Unlock the associated plug connections and disconnect.
- Guide the center console trim (1) out to the rear and remove.
