Installing the headlining (with panorama roof)
Precondition
The front seats have been fully adjusted towards the bottom.
The front seat backrests have been fully adjusted towards the rear.
The rear seat backrest is folded toward the front.
NOTE:
RISK OF DAMAGE
Fold the headlining.
Damage to the headlining. If necessary, the headlining must be replaced.
Fold the headlining.
Damage to the headlining. If necessary, the headlining must be replaced.
- Carry out tasks with a second person to assist.
- Support the headlining at the front and back.
- Guide in the headlining (2) from the front into the vehicle.
- Lift the headlining (2) and guide it in to each edge protection.
- Clip in the headlining (2) in the area of the dotted line on the sliding/tilting sunroof case and the clamps (4) .
- Clip headlining (2)
to the clips (3)
.
Ensure the headlining (2) is correctly positioned on the seal for the tailgate.
- Secure expanding rivet (1)
.
- Clip headlining to the clips (2) .
- Connect connectors (1)
and lock.
- Connect the connector (1)
in the D-pillar (2)
area at left and lock.
