Installing the left-hand charge air cooler

• Replace hose (1).

  Parts:  Hose

• Position hose (1) with hose clamps (2) as shown in illustration below.
• Position the hose (5) and the hose clamp (3) (diameter 60-80 mm) at the top.
• Ensure that the hose clamp at the top (3) in the area of threaded connection is aligned with the screw on boost pressure sensor.
• Position hose clamp (4) on hose (5) (diameter of 77-84 mm) at the bottom.

• Make sure that the hose clamp (4) at the bottom in the area of the threaded connection is aligned with the rubber mount on the charge air cooler.
• Insert and position the charge air cooler (2).
• Connect and lock the coolant line (1).

• Tighten hose clamp (1).

• Tighten hose clamp (2).

• Position the holder (3) in the groove (4).
• Tighten down screw (2).

  M6x18 screw	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Secure the wiring harness mounting (1).
• Clip holder (1) into charge air cooler (2).

• Position washer (2).
• Tighten down screw (1).

  M6x30 screw	Tightening torque	10 Nm

• Position hose (1) on the nozzle of the charge air cooler.
• Tighten hose clamp (2).
• Clip in the hose (3) into the holder on the charge air cooler.

• Tighten the snap rings (1).

Securing tank ventilation line of cylinder bank 2 

• Position the tank ventilation line.
• Clip in the tank vent line in the (2) area.
• Connect the tank vent line to the engine ventilation line (1) and lock.

• Connect and lock connectors (2), (3) and (5).
• Clip in the coolant line (4) in the holder.
• Connect and lock the coolant line (1).

• Position hose (2) on the nozzle of the charge air cooler.
• Tighten hose clamp (1).
• Clip in the hose (3) into the holder on the charge air cooler.

• Install the connecting plate (1).
• Tighten the screws (2).

• Position the coolant line (1) on the centering bearing (3).
• Tighten nut (2).

• Position the coolant ventilation line (2) in the holder (1).
• Lock holder (1).
