61 34... Removing and installing/replacing 12-V power socket

Special tools required: 

• 61 0 250

The following 12-V power sockets can be installed depending on the equipment:

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

• Refer to REMOVING FRONT STORAGE COMPARTMENT
• Refer to REMOVING REAR CENTRE CONSOLE TRIM
• Refer to REMOVING TRIM FROM STORAGE COMPARTMENT, CENTRE
• Refer to REMOVING RIGHT LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT WHEEL ARCH PANEL .

Removal: 

Front storage compartment: 

Remove power socket (1) with special tool 61 0 250.

Rear centre console trim: 

Remove power socket (1) using special tool 61 0 250 from the trim of centre console, rear (2).

Luggage compartment: 

Put your hand behind the right luggage compartment wheel arch panel.

Detach connector (1) from power socket (2).

Fold up the protective cap over power socket (1).

Remove power socket (1) using special tool 61 0 250.

Pull out 12-V power socket from housing with special tool 61 0 250 until connector is at bottom of light ring.

Installation: 

Front storage compartment: 

Clip in connector socket (1).

Fit power socket (1) into the trim of rear centre console (2).

Fit power socket (1) in mounting.
