Install the HSR actuator

• Position the HSR actuator under the rear axle support.
• Connect and lock the connectors (1) and (2).

• Position the HSR actuator with the tappet in the bore on the rear axle support.

• Replace screws (2).

  Parts:  Screws

• Tighten screws (2) on HSR actuator (1).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  HSR actuator to rear axle support (top)
  M14 Replace screws.	tightening torque	165 Nm

• Replace screw (3) and nut (4).

  Parts:  Bolt, nut

• Insert the screw (3).
• Tighten nut (4).
  TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
  
  

  HSR actuator to rear axle support (bottom)
  M12 Replace screw and nut.	Joining torque	100 Nm
  	Angle of rotation	90°

• Secure wiring harness (1) to the HSR actuator.

  NOTE: The following step(s) must be performed if the listed component(s) is/are installed.
  NOTE: Perform the steps on the right and left side.

  • Replacement:  Remount heat shield (1) on the new HSR actuator.

    Loosen screws (2).

    Remove heat shield (1) and position it on the new HSR actuator.

    Tighten the screws (2).

    TIGHTENING TORQUES SPECIFICATION
    
    

    Heat shield to HSR actuator
    M6 Replace screw.	Tightening torque	8 Nm

• Refer to INSTALLING THE UNDERBODY PLANKING OF THE TRANSMISSION ON THE SIDE .
• Refer to INSTALLING THE COVER OF THE CAMBER CONTROL ARM ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to INSTALLING REAR WHEEL ON THE LEFT AND RIGHT .
• Refer to ENCODE THE HSR ACTUATOR .
• Refer to PERFORM CHASSIS ALIGNMENT CHECK .
