- Mask those working areas at risk with yellow plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove and install heavy or bulky components with the aid of another person/other persons.
Preliminary work

- Refer to REMOVE THE RECORDING OF THE RIGHT HOOD SEAL .
- Refer to REMOVE DOOR SILL COVER STRIP, INTERIOR RIGHT .
- Refer to REMOVING THE ILLUMINATED RIGHT-HAND FRONT SILL TRIM .
- Refer to REMOVE THE RIGHT DOOR SILL TRIM PANEL .
- Refer to REMOVE FRONT LEFT OR RIGHT WHEEL .
- Refer to REMOVE THE FRONT RIGHT WHEEL ARCH COVER FRONT SECTION .

- Mask the area (1)
on the headlight and on the bumper cover with plastic adhesive tape.
- Mask the area (1)
of the door with plastic adhesive tape.
- Remove the noise insulators (1)
and (1)
.
- Release the screws (1) of the bumper cover (2) .
- Release the bumper cover (2)
from the side panel.
- Loosen screw (1)
.
- Release the cable (1) from the bracket of the side panel.
- Loosen screw (2)
.
- Loosen screws (1)
.
- Open the front door.
Pull the sealing (1) down slightly in the direction of the arrow.
- Loosen screw (2) .
- Close front door.
- Loosen screws (1)
.
- Release the side panel in the sequence and direction shown.
- Release the side panel outward in the lower area of the A-pillar (1) .
- Release the side panel in the area of the headlights (2)
towards the rear.
Pay attention to the headlight locking mechanism (3) .
