Removing the illuminated right-hand front sill trim

NOTE: Description is for left component only. Procedure on the right side is identical.

Remove the illuminated front sill trim

Get the set of special tools 0 493 752 (00 9 329) ready.

Disconnect plug connection (1).
Loosen edge protection seal (2) in the area of the cable.

RISK OF DAMAGE
Bending of plastic components.
Application of too much force can lead to bending of plastic components.
- Place special tool directly beside the mounting clip.
- Continue unclipping the part without using the tool if possible.

Loosen the illuminated front sill trim (1) with suitable tools with the clips (2).
Feed out cables and remove the illuminated front sill trim (1).
Remove clips (1) if necessary and affix on the illuminated front sill trim.
