Installing the excitation cable
- Mark the position of the seal (2) on the excitation cable (arrow) since it could slip during installation of the seal (2).
- Coat seal (2) with lubricant.

- Remove the line clip (2) from excitation cable (1).
- Position the excitation cable (1) as depicted.
- Feed the excitation cable (1) with the seal (2) through the housing (3) in the arrow direction until the seal (2) is completely inside the housing (3).
- If necessary, correct the position of the excitation cable (1) in the seal (2) until the mark is in line with the seal (2).
- Install the line clip (3) on the excitation cable (2) and position it as shown.
- Install excitation cable (2).
- Tighten nuts (1).

- Tighten nut (4).

Installing the lid of the brush module
Precondition

- Apply sealing bead (1) with the sealing compound in the marked area.
