Take engine out of installation orientation

• Lower the engine by turning the spindle  2 361 506 (00 6 103)  until the engine is completely in contact with the  engine mounts.

• Feed out the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070)  at the special tool 2 459 012  and set aside.
• Feed out the special tool 0 490 579 (11 0 070)  at the engine mounting bracket (1)  at the rear and set aside.

  NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION 
  Conduct the following operation with the assistance of a second person.
• Remove the engine bridge (1)  with the help from another person.

• Tighten the screw (1)  of the right  engine mount with a standard tool from the top.
  TIGHTENING TORQUE SPECIFICATION

  M12	tightening torque	100 Nm

• Lay out all special tools and standard tools.

• Tighten the screw (1)  of the left  engine mount with standard tools (2)  .

  M12	tightening torque	100 Nm

• Release the special tool 2 413 317 and remove the steering shaft (1)  from the coolant line (2)  .

• Guide in and position the coolant line (2)  .
• Fasten expanding rivet (1)  .

• Tighten down screw (1)  .

  M6	tightening torque	8 Nm

• Clean the screw threads to remove all residues of screw locking agent.
• Slide the steering shaft (2)  in arrow direction  on to the steering gear (3)  .
• Replace the clamping bolt (1)  .

• Tighten the clamping bolt (1)  .

  Universal joint to steering box
  M8 Recut screw thread. Replace clamping bolt. No retorque permitted!	tightening torque	28 Nm

• Loosen the screws (1)  from the special tool 2 459012  .
• Guide out and remove the special tool 2 459 012  on the cylinder head.
