Remove Both Tail Lights from the Trunk Lid

Preliminary work 

• Remove the power tailgate SWITCH .
• Remove the trunk lid LIGHT .
• Remove both trunk lid COVERS .
• Remove the top rear window frame TRIM .
• Remove both the side rear window frame TRIM PIECES .
• Remove tailgate TRIM PANEL .

• Unlock plug connection (1) on the tail light (2) and disconnect.

• Loosen the nuts (1) of the tail light (2).

• Release detents (1) in arrow direction and remove the tail light (2) to the outside.
