51 37 000 Removing and installing/replacing complete rear left or right power window regulator

WARNING: Danger of injury!
Power windows unit has no anti-trapping mechanism.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

Removal:

Release screw (1).

Release screws (1).

Run side window up to the top.

Feed out the power window with retaining bracket (2) upwards.

Release the cable holder and disconnect the plug connector.

Installation:

Replacement:

Mount cable holder and connect plug connector.

Feed in the power window with retaining bracket (2) downwards.

Position screws (1).

Side window glass (3) must be distance (A and B) away from body (2).

Dimension A = 13 to 15 mm.

Dimension B = 14 to 16 mm.

Adjust distance (A, B) and tighten screws (1).

Tightening torque: 51 37 4AZ .
