52 26 039 Removing and installing/replacing rear seat frame

Necessary preliminary tasks:

REMOVE RIGHT backrest frame.
REMOVE right backrest cover.

Remove plate (1).

Release screw (2).

Tightening torque 52 26 8AZ .

Remove trim (3) in direction of arrow.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 8AZ .

Remove trim in direction of arrow.

Release screws (1).

Tightening torque 52 26 4AZ .

Lift out backrest.

Replacement only:

REMOVE damper.
REMOVE ACTIVATOR FOR rear seat surface.
Remove BOWDEN CABLE FOR REAR SEAT .
Remove CONTROL UNIT for seat heating.
REMOVE seat belt buckle.
