51 12 821 Replacing both holders for rear bumper

Necessary preliminary tasks:

NOTE: The operation is described on the left side; proceed in the same way for the right side.

E93 only:

Release antenna holders (1 and 2) from holder (3).

Installation:

If necessary, replace faulty aerial holders (1 and 2).

If necessary, disconnect plug connection at RDC trigger transmitter.

Release screws (1 and 2).

Release nut (3) and remove holder (4).

Installation:

Catches (1) must not be damaged or missing.

E90/E91 only:

Catches (2) must not be damaged or missing.

Replacement:

Predrill FIXING HOLES FOR RDC TRIGGER TRANSMITTER (for Sports package in construction period from 03/09 to 09/09).
