51 11 157 Replace bumper panel, front

Necessary preliminary tasks: 

Version with fog light: 

Version with Park Distance Control (PDC): 

Pull sealing (1) off in an upward direction.

Remove sheet metal nuts (1) on right/left.

Version without fog light: 

Release screws (2) and remove cover (3).

Remove sheet metal nuts on right/left below cover (3).

E90/E91 only: 

Press down latch mechanisms (1) at insert (2) and remove insert (2) in direction of arrow.

E92/E93 only: 

Press down latch mechanisms (2) at insert (1) and feed out insert (1) in direction of arrow.

Version with M Aerodynamics package: 

Release expanding rivets (1) and remove air guide (2).

Only E92/E93 version with M Aerodynamics package and active pedestrian protection: 

Position holder (1) centrally on bumper panel.

Pencil in holes for expanding rivets (2) and drill open with Ø 6.5 mm drill.

Fasten holder (1) with expanding rivet (2).

Remount pedestrian protection sensor.
