Axle Alignment Procedure, AUDI Q8

The "complete alignment" mode must be selected on the Wheel Alignment Computer if an axle alignment needs to be performed together with the driver assist systems adjustment/calibration.
The sequence of procedure steps must be followed.
| 1 - | Drive the vehicle "straight" onto the alignment rack. Switch off the ignition only when the vehicle has come to a stop. |

| 2 - | Versions with air suspension: initiate and lock standard vehicle height. Refer to STANDARD VEHICLE HEIGHT, INITIATING AND LOCKING . |
| 3 - | Move the rear axle steering gear into the zero position. Refer to REAR AXLE STEERING GEAR, MOVING INTO ZERO POSITION . |
| 4 - | Perform wheel run-out compensation. Refer to WHEEL RUN-OUT COMPENSATION . |
| 5 - | Check the maximum steering angle. Refer to MAXIMUM STEERING ANGLE, CHECKING . |
| 6 - | Even out the Steering Wheel Scales:VAS 6458A on the steering wheel as close to 0° as possible. |
| 7- | Check the rear axle camber and adjust if necessary. Refer to REAR AXLE CAMBER, ADJUSTING . |
| 8- | Check rear axle toe and adjust if necessary. Refer to REAR AXLE TOE, ADJUSTING . |
| 9- | Check front axle camber and adjust if necessary. Refer to FRONT AXLE CAMBER, CENTERING . |
| 10 - | Check the front axle toe and adjust if necessary. Refer to FRONT AXLE TOE, ADJUSTING . |
| 11 - | When the adjustment on the suspension is changed:

| 12 - | If settings on the rear axle have been changed, the driver assist systems must be adjusted/calibrated. Using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, determine which Driver Assistance Systems are installed. Due to the distance between the vehicle and the Setting Device Basic Set :VAS 6430
