Condenser, Removing And Installing, All Except Ea888 EVO4: Removing
Vehicles with High-Voltage System
-- Switch off (deactivate) the "parking air conditioner". Refer to Owner's Manual.
-- Switch the ignition on.
-- Vehicles with eat Pump Function, initiate the A/C system basic setting through the Thermal Management Control Module -J1024- and open the power-activated valves through the stored routine Extract, evacuate and fill the refrigerant circuit using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester .
-- Switch the ignition off.
Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Discharge the refrigerant circuit. Refer to Refrigerant Circuit or A/C SERVICE STATION, USING .
-- Remove the lock carrier cover. Refer to Front Bumper .
-- If equipped, remove the coolant line from the charge air cooling circuit cooler to do so lift the clamp -arrow-.
Vehicles without Radiator Shutter
-- Remove the upper air guide. Refer to OVERVIEW - RADIATOR/RADIATOR FAN - 2.0 or OVERVIEW - RADIATOR/RADIATOR FAN - 3.0 .

-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
Vehicles with Radiator Shutter
-- Remove the front bumper cover. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the side and upper air duct from the radiator shutter. Refer to OVERVIEW - RADIATOR SHUTTER - 2.0 or OVERVIEW - RADIATOR SHUTTER - 3.0 .
Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Disconnect the refrigerant lines from the condenser. Refer to REFRIGERANT LINES, DISCONNECTING AND CONNECTING FROM CONDENSER .
-- If equipped, disconnect the connector -2- for the High Pressure Sensor -G65-.
-- Release the catches -arrows- and remove the condenser -1- slightly from the radiator, at the same time push the left and right air ducts to the side if necessary.
-- Remove the condenser -1- upward from the mount on the radiator.
