Overview - Radiator/Radiator Fan

Radiator

  1. Coolant Hose
    • For vehicles with high-voltage system
    • Lift the clamp to remove
    • Connecting. Refer to Fig 2.
  2. Radiator
  3. O-Ring
    • Check for damage and replace if necessary.
    • Coat with coolant
  4. Plug/Coolant Hose
    • There are different versions. Refer to the appropriate Electronic Parts Information for the allocation.
    • Lift the clamp to remove
    • Connecting. Refer to Fig 2.
  5. O-Ring
    • Check for damage and replace if necessary.
    • Coat with coolant
  6. Coolant Hose
    • Lift the clamp to remove
    • Connecting. Refer to Fig 2.
  7. Coolant Hose
    • To the coolant expansion tank
    • To remove, press the release ring
    • Connecting. Refer to Fig 2.
  8. O-Ring
    • Check for damage and replace if necessary.
    • Coat with coolant
  9. Rubber Bushing
    • For the radiator
  10. Sleeve
  11. Retaining Pin
    • Disengage and remove using the screwdriver
  12. Coolant Hose
    • For vehicles with high-voltage system
  13. High-Voltage Coolant Circuit Radiator
  14. Coolant Hose
    • For vehicles with high-voltage system
  15. Upper Air Duct
  16. Side Air Duct
  17. Rubber Bushing
    • For the radiator
  18. Rubber Buffer
  19. Bolt
    • 14 Nm
  20. O-Ring
    • For vehicles with high-voltage system
    • Check for damage and replace if necessary.
    • Coat with coolant

Connect the Connector Coupling

-- Replace the damaged clamp -3-.

-- Check the O-ring -2- or ring -5- for damage. The O-ring can optionally be replaced by the ring. When installing the ring, mind the installation position, the groove points towards the inside.

-- Coat the new O-ring or ring with coolant.

-- Press on the connector coupling -4- to the connection -1- until it engages audibly.

-- Push the connector coupling on again and pull it to make sure the connector coupling is engaged correctly.
