For Assembly Work, Secure The Engine On The Engine And Gearbox Bracket VAS6095A :VAS6095A . Refer to ENGINE, SECURING ON ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION HOLDER .
- Sealing Flange, Belt Pulley Side
- Replacing. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Bolt
- Tightening Specification And Sequence. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, BELT PULLEY SIDE TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
- Crankshaft
- Axial play, measuring. Refer to CRANKSHAFT, MEASURING AXIAL PLAY .
- Radial play, measuring. Refer to CRANKSHAFT, MEASURING RADIAL CLEARANCE .
- Crankshaft Dimensions. Refer to CRANKSHAFT DIMENSIONS .
- Alignment Sleeve
- Quantity: 4
- Insert into guide frame. Refer to the image above (Exploded View Of Crankshaft).
- Seal
- Replace after removing
- Bolt
- For guide frame to cylinder block sealing surfaces
- There are different bolt lengths and bolt heads
- Tightening Specification And Sequence GUIDE FRAME BOLTS TIGHTENING SEQUENCE .
- Bolt
- Long, large shoulder
- For inner row of guide frame
- Replace after removing
- Use old bolts to measure radial play.
- Tightening Specification And Sequence. Refer to GUIDE FRAME BOLTS TIGHTENING SEQUENCE .
- Bolt
- Short, small shoulder
- For outer row of guide frame
- Tightening Specification And Sequence. Refer to GUIDE FRAME BOLTS TIGHTENING SEQUENCE .
- Guide Frame
- With Oil Pressure Regulation Valve - N428-. Refer to GUIDE FRAME BOLTS TIGHTENING SEQUENCE
- To remove, Remove The Timing Chain Guide Rail -Item 1) OVERVIEW - TIMING MECHANISM DRIVE CHAIN .
- Sealant application. Refer to SEALANT APPLICATION FOR THE GUIDE FRAME, POSITION OF THE ALIGNMENT BUSHINGS
- Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-, Removing and installing. Refer to OIL PRESSURE REGULATION VALVE -N428-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Seal
- Replace after removing
- Thrust Washer
- Crankshaft bearing 3 only
- Installed position: the oil groove faces outside
- Note locating point in guide frame
- Bearing Shell
- For guide frame without lubricating groove
- Replace any worn bearing shells
- Note the installation position
- Insert new Bearing Shells For Guide Frame with proper color marking. Refer to COLOR CODED CRANKSHAFT BEARING SHELLS FOR GUIDE FRAME
- Thrust Washer
- Crankshaft bearing 3 only
- Installed position: the oil groove faces outside
- Pay attention to the locating point on the cylinder block
- Bearing Shell
- For cylinder block with oil groove
- Replace any worn bearing shells
- Note the installation position
- Insert new Bearing Shells For Cylinder Block with proper color marking. Refer to COLOR CODE OF CRANKSHAFT BEARING SHELLS FOR CYLINDER BLOCK
- Cylinder Block
NOTE:
Replace The O-Ring After Removing.
-- Tighten the locking bolt -arrow- to 14 Nm.
- Connector
- Replace the O-ring after removing
- Bolt, 9 Nm
- Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428-
