Microswitch for seatback release, assembly overview

- Removing
- Remove seat → Seat, assembly overview .
- Attach fixture for seat repair VAS 6136 to engine and transmission holder VAS 6095.
- Attach front seat to fixture for seat repair VAS 6136.
- Remove door sill side seat trim → Side trim on sill panel side, removing and installing .
- Remove tunnel side seat trim → Side trim, inboard side, assembly overview .
- Remove backrest → Front seat backrest, assembly overview .
- Remove backrest panel → Backrest cover panel, removing and installing .
- Remove backrest frame → Backrest frame, assembly overview .
- Remove backrest cover and cushion → Backrest cover and padding (sports seat, standard seat), removing and installing .
- Use a screwdriver to pry out circlip - 3 -.
- Press together catches - 5 - (2x) and remove microswitch - 4 -.
- Disconnect connector - 2 -.
- Installing
- Press in microswitch - 4 - until the catches - 5 - (2x) engage.
- Connect connector - 2 -.
- Install backrest cover and cushion g → Backrest cover and padding (sports seat, standard seat), removing and installing .
- Install backrest → Front seat backrest, assembly overview .
- Install seat → Seat, assembly overview .
- Adjust microswitch for seatback release → Microswitch for seatback release, adjusting .
- Insert the circlip - 3 -.
- Install backrest frame → Backrest frame, assembly overview .
- Install backrest panel → Backrest cover panel, removing and installing .
