Dashboard Center Vent Removal/Installation

Special Tools Required

KTC trim tool set SOJATP2014 *

* Available through the Acura Tool and Equipment Program, call 888-424-6857

NOTE:

Take care not to scratch the dashboard and its related parts
Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components
The left dashboard center vent is shown, the right dashboard center vent is symmetrical

Remove these items.
- Center console panel (see CENTER CONSOLE PANEL REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Driver's center trim (see CENTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Passenger's dashboard trim (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Passenger's center trim (see CENTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Center holder (see CENTER HOLDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Climate control unit (see CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Center pocket, without navigation system (see CENTER POCKET REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Audio unit
  - With premium audio system (see WITH PREMIUM AUDIO SYSTEM )
  - With ELS audio system (see AUDIO UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Audio/navigation switch panel, with ELS audio system (see WITH ELS AUDIO SYSTEM )
Remove the screws, then remove the dashboard center vent (A) from the center panel (B) while releasing upper tabs (C) with the appropriate trim tool

Install the vent in the reverse order of removal
