With ELS Audio System
NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard and related parts
- Lay a workshop towel under the parts when working on them to protect the face panel from scratches or other damage
- Do not work in a dusty or dirty place
- Discharge static electricity from your body before and during the work
- Do not work with dirty hands
- Do not touch the circuit board with your bare hands
- Be careful not to fold the flat plate cable
- Do not touch the terminal connector of the flat plate cable with your bare hands (If you have touched it, wipe it off thoroughly)
- Remove the driver's center trim (see CENTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) and passenger's dashboard trim (see PASSENGER'S DASHBOARD TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Remove the passenger's center trim (see CENTER TRIM REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Remove the climate control unit (see CLIMATE CONTROL UNIT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Remove pull out the audio-navigation switch panel (A)
- Disconnect the connectors (B), and remove the audio-navigation switch panel
- Remove the dashboard center vent (see DASHBOARD CENTER VENT REMOVAL/INSTALLATION )
- Remove the interface dial (see HFL-NAVIGATION MICROPHONE REMOVAL/INSTALLATION ) and hazard warning switch (see HAZARD WARNING SWITCH TEST/REPLACEMENT ) from the audio-navigation switch panel (A)
- Install the audio-navigation switch panel in the reverse order of removal
