Fan Housing, Removing: Removal

Remove the dashboard according to Dashboard .

Cars with air conditioning (A/C):

Remove the air conditioning (A/C) pipe in the engine compartment from the support
Slacken off the bolts on top and the nut underneath. Pull the power unit backwards as far as possible
Remove the connector from the blower fan motor and the recirculation damper motor
Remove the support from the dashboard (2x nuts)
Remove the mounting nuts from the fan housing (3x)
Carefully pull the housing backwards. Remove it with a twisting movement.
