Installing the passenger airbag module in the dashboard

WARNING:

The passenger airbag module must be handled according to the instructions. See Handling non-deployed airbag modules / pyrotechnic seat belt tensioners .

Carefully install the passenger airbag module in the dashboard.

Install:

the two screws. Tighten to 10 Nm
the ventilation pipe with four screws
the green connector for the passenger airbag module.

WARNING:

Under no circumstances use an ohmmeter or other live measuring instrument to take readings on a disconnected, non-deployed passenger airbag module. The passenger airbag module may be deployed.
