IC (inflatable curtain): Removal

First read Preparation .

NOTE:

The hose clamp must not be opened under any circumstances. If the clamp is opened, it will not be possible to guarantee the safety of the joint. Leakage may result which would compromise the function.

Remove:

The headlining according to Removing the headlining .

Remove:

the connector according to Igniter wire connector .

Remove:

clips A, B, C and D.
CAUTION:
First remove clip A from above the B post panel.
the screw (3). Unhook the inflatable curtain.

Remove:

clips E and F
screws 3 and 4 and lift the inflatable curtain out.
