Installing the inflatable curtain

CAUTION:

The IC (inflatable curtain) module must not be reinstalled if it has been dropped onto the ground or similar.

Install:

the deflectors and screws.

NOTE:

The deflector on the C/D post must be installed before the inflatable curtain module is installed

Lift in and open the packaging according to the instructions.

Install clips E and F.

Remove the packaging by pulling it straight downwards.

NOTE:

Ensure that no bits of paper remain.

Install screws 3 and 4.

Hook the inflatable curtain into place. Install the screw (3).

NOTE:

It is very important that the hook is correctly installed.

Install clips A, B, C and D.

Tighten all screws. Tighten to 10 Nm .

Install:

The SRS connector
The headlining according to Installing the headlining .

CAUTION:

When installing the IC (inflatable curtain), part of the decal on the curtain must be ripped off and stuck on the decal in the door opening.
