Removing the tailgate lock cylinder

Remove:

the panel according to Removing the tailgate panel
the control by the lock by pressing the pin out
the control rod for the central locking motor from the clips
the four nuts
the outer cover strip
the lock cylinder assembly.

NOTE: The lock cylinder (key section) is not replaceable but is supplied as one component.
