A new clutch, P/N 271494-7, with a modified operating ratio has been introduced as a running change during 1993 production.
When installing the new clutch it is recommended that the clutch pedal auxiliary spring be replaced by a softer type because of the modified spring characteristic of the clutch itself. This applies to:
4-door 850s with chassis numbers below 86700
