Lubricating the Constant Velocity Joint

Lubricate the constant velocity joint thoroughly.
Apply grease behind the joint via the shaft hole in the inner ring.
Use half of the grease packet. The remainder will be used later in the gaiter. See Greasing the Gaiter .
