Brake Caliper, Removing And Installing: Installing

Conditions
- The piston is pressed back.
- The brake pads and their springs rest in the openings in the brake carrier.
-- Place the brake caliper on the brake carrier.
-- Counterhold at the guide pin -3- and mount the brake caliper on the brake carrier -1- with new self-locking bolts -2-.
-- Install the brake hose into the brake caliper and tighten.
-- Remove the Brake Pedal Actuator: VAG1869/2 .
Right Side of Vehicle
-- Attach the connector for the Front Brake Pad Wear Sensor -G35-.
Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Refer to Hydraulic System, Bleeding .
-- Install the wheel. Refer to WHEEL, INSTALLING .
With the Vehicle Stationary, Firmly Press the Brake Pedal Several Times so That the Brake Pads in the Operating Condition Properly Sit in Their Respective Position.
-- Check the brake fluid level.
Conditions
- The brake fluid must rest between "Min." -2- and "Max." -1-.
