Clutch Fluid Level, Checking

Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit:VAS 6622A

Vehicle Diagnostic Tester

Test Requirements

The oil temperature must be 20 to 40 °C (68 to 104 °F).
The oil temperature can be reached by driving the vehicle for a while.
The vehicle must be level.
Final drive must be in the installation position to check oil level.

-- Read the oil temperature using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester in Guided Functions .

-- Place the Used Oil Collection and Extraction Unit:SMN372500 under the clutch chamber.

-- Remove the bolt -1-.

The level is correct when the fluid comes up to the bottom edge of the filler hole.

-- If necessary, fill the oil. Refer to Oil, Filling .

-- Install the bolt -1- and tighten to the tightening specification.

The level is correct when the fluid comes up to the bottom edge of the filler hole.

-- If necessary, fill the oil. Refer to Oil, Filling .

-- Install the bolt -2- and tighten to the tightening specification.
