Oil, Filling

-- Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.

-- To fill, use the Charging Device for AWD Clutch Coupling 2:VAS 6291A  -1-.

-- Install the Adapter:6291/1-4  -2-.

-- Connect the Charging Device for AWD Clutch Coupling 2:VAS 6291A  -1- with Adapter:6291/1-4  -2-.

-- Add enough oil using Charging Device for AWD Clutch Coupling 2:VAS 6291A  until it runs out between the charging device adapter and the transmission housing.

-- Remove the charging device and adapter if necessary a little oil left over will flow out.

The level is correct when the fluid comes up to the bottom edge of the filler hole.

-- Install the bolts -1 and 2- and tighten to the tightening specification.

• After the oil change resetting the oil adaption values is required.

-- To do so connect the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

• Press the System 8126 left rear axle torque distribution J1257  .
• Select function 
• Oil change maintenance 
• and
• Press the System 8127 right rear axle torque distributions J1258  .
• Select function 
• Oil change maintenance 
• End the Guided Fault Finding
