• Adjustment Gauge:3371 

The procedure is described as an example for the right side of the vehicle.

Tip

The hood can be centered in the direction of -arrow C- and in the direction of -arrow D- between the fenders.

-- Loosen the nuts -2- to adjust the hinge -1- in the direction of -arrow C- or the direction of -arrow D-.

Tip

The height of the hood can be adjusted in the direction of -arrow B- between the fenders.

Tip

The hood can be adjusted in the direction of -arrow A- to the front bumper cover.

-- Loosen the bolts -3- to adjust the hinge -1- in the direction of -arrow A- or the direction of -arrow B-.

-- Check the gap dimensions using the Gauge - Gap Adjustment:3371  . Refer to WINDSHIELD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING , for this.

-- Apply the corrosion protection on the hinges -1-, nuts -2- and bolts -3-. Refer to the appropriate Service Information.
