Adjusting Buffer, Adjusting

Stabilizing the adjusting buffer and cushioning the hood.

-- Remove the striker. Refer to Striker, Removing and Installing  .

Tip

The hood -2- can be adjusted at the height to the front bumper cover and the fenders.

-- Turn the adjusting buffer -1- in the direction of -arrow A- or in the direction of -arrow B- to adjust the hood -2-.

Conditions

• If the hood -2- is closed the adjusting buffer -1- must lightly touch the stops -3-.

-- Install the striker. Refer to Striker, Removing and Installing  .
