Vehicles with Seat Heating
The heating element must be positioned so that it has no bends.
The installation of the heating element follows the example for the front seat version "Basic".
-- Guide the wiring harness through the rear oblong hole.
-- Press the heating element in the rear trench -arrows-.
-- Remove the peel-off backing from the rear left and right positioning tape -1-.
-- Attach the heating element to the cushion with light pressure.
-- Remove the peel-off backing from the center positioning tape -2-.
-- Attach the heating element to the cushion with light pressure.
-- Push the heat element into the front trench.
-- Remove the peel-off backing from the front left and right positioning tape -3-.
-- Push the heat element into the front trench.
Vehicles with Passenger Occupant Detection System (for USA and Canada vehicles)

Continuation for All Vehicles
-- Install the cushion -5- on the seat frame.
-- Attach the cover -1- to the cushion -5- with the clips -4-.
-- Attach the seat cover -1- to the cushion -4- all the way around with new upholstery clips -2- at the shown locations -3- using the :VAG1634 .
Further assembly is performed in reverse order.
