Sealing Flange - Belt Pulley Side Overview

- Bolt
- Use Counter Support 3415 to loosen and tighten
- Do not lubricate or grease the threads or collar
- additional rotation can occur in several stages
- Replace after removing
- 120 Nm +90°
- Crankshafts - Toothed Belt Gear
- There must be no oil on the contact surface between the toothed belt sprocket and crankshaft
- Only possible to install in one position
- Seal
- Do not lubricate or grease the sealing lip on the seal
- Before installing, remove oil remains from crankshaft journal with a clean cloth
- Seal for crankshaft - ribbed belt side, replacing. Refer to CRANKSHAFT SEAL, REPLACING, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Sealing Flange
- Must be seated on the alignment pins
- Removing and installing. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Insert with Silicone Sealant D 176 404 A2. Refer to SEALING FLANGE, BELT PULLEY SIDE .
- Cylinder Block
- Crankshaft, Removing and Installing. Refer to CRANKSHAFT OVERVIEW .
- Piston and Connecting Rod, Disassembling and Assembling. Refer to PISTONS AND CONNECTING RODS OVERVIEW .
- Alignment Pin
- Quantity: 2
- Bolt
- Tightening specification and sequence Fig 2
-- Tighten the bolts in three steps and in the sequence shown:
