Overview - Cylinder Block, Belt Pulley Side

Ribbed Belt
- Check for wear
- Before removing, mark the direction of rotation using chalk or a felt-tip pen.
- Do not kink
- Ribbed belt routing, refer to Installing
- Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- When installing, make sure it is seated correctly on the pulleys
Bolt
- 10 Nm + 90° turn
- Use Original bolts only
- Replace after removing
Vibration damper
- With ribbed belt pulley
- Installed position: The hole inside the vibration damper must be positioned over the protrusion on the crankshaft toothed belt gear.
- Removing and installing, refer to VIBRATION DAMPER .
Ribbed Belt Tensioner
- Removing and installing, refer to RIBBED BELT TENSIONER .
Bolt
- 20 Nm + 90° turn
- Replace after removing
Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to OVERVIEW - HIGH PRESSURE PUMP
Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to -item 12- OVERVIEW - TOOTHED BELT => List Item:Bolt
Damper Roller
Alignment Sleeve
- Make sure the auxiliary component bracket fits correctly.
Auxiliary Components Bracket
- Removing and installing, refer to AUXILIARY COMPONENTS BRACKET .
High Pressure Pump
- Overview, refer to OVERVIEW - HIGH PRESSURE PUMP .
Generator
- Assembly Overview, refer to [For transmission(s) 0A4, 02E, 09G, 02Q] General Information .
Bolt
- Tightening specification, refer to [For transmission(s) 0A4, 02E, 09G, 02Q] General Information .
Bolt
- There are different lengths, refer to Fig 2.
- Tightening specification and sequence, refer to Fig 2.
Alignment Sleeve
- Make sure if fits correctly inside the A/C compressor.
Air Conditioning (A/C) Compressor
- Assembly overview, refer to Air Conditioning .
Bolt
- Tightening specifications, refer to SPECIFICATIONS .

NOTE:

Replace the bolts that were tightened with an additional turn after removing them.

-- Install the bolts as follows:

Bolts -1, 2, 3, 6- M10x35.
Bolt -4- M10x115.
Bolt -5- M10x175.

-- Tighten the bolts in steps in the sequence shown:

Step	Bolts	Tightening Specification/Additional Turn
1.	-1 to 6-	Install all the way in by hand.
2.	-1 to 6-	40 Nm
3.	-4- and -5-	180° additional turn
4.	-1, 2, 3, 6-	45° additional turn
