Selector Mechanism Overview, From 03.09

WARNING:
Move the selector lever into "P" and set the parking brake before working with the engine running.
- Selector Handle with Cover
- Do not remove the handle unnecessarily. For emergency release, only the cover must be removed. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER MANUAL RELEASE .
- Pull the button out past its pressure point before removing the handle. Secure the button with a cable tie or some suitable wire. This prevents the button from being pushed back into the handle accidentally.
- Removing and installing, refer to SELECTOR HANDLE WITH COVER .
- Selector Mechanism with Selector Lever and Selector Lever Cable
- With the shift lock solenoid -N110-.
- The cable is not lubricated.
- Removing and installing, refer to SELECTOR MECHANISM WITH LEVER AND CABLE, FROM 03.09 .
- Checking, refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, CHECKING .
- Adjusting SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, ADJUSTING .
