   • Always replace.
   • Tightening sequence and specification. Refer to Fig 2.
4. Lower Oil Pan 
   • Removing and installing, refer to LOWER OIL PAN .
5. Bolt 
   • 9 Nm
6. Oil Baffle 
   • Always replace.
7. Bolts 
   • M6: 9 Nm.
   • M8: 20 Nm.
8. Oil Pump 
   • Removing and installing, refer to OIL PUMP .
   • Checking the oil pressure and switch. Refer to OIL PRESSURE AND SWITCH, CHECKING .
9. Alignment Bushing 
   • For centering the oil pump.
10. Chain Tensioner 
    • For the oil pump drive chain.
11. Guide Pin 
    • 9 Nm
12. Bolt 
    • 9 Nm
    • Not available in the US/Canadian market.
13. Oil Pressure Regulation Valve -N428- 
    • Not available in the US/Canadian market.
14. O-ring 
    • Always replace.
    • Not available in the US/Canadian market.
15. Drive Chain 
    • For the oil pump.
    • Mark the direction of rotation before removing.
16. Gasket 
    • Always replace.
17. Oil Separator 
    • Removing and installing, refer to OIL SEPARATOR .
18. Bolt 
    • Tightening sequence and specification. Refer to OIL SEPARATOR .
19. Upper Oil Pan 
    • Removing and installing, refer to UPPER OIL PAN .
20. Bolt 
    • 9 Nm
21. Bolt 
    • Always replace.
    • Tightening sequence and specification. Refer to Fig 3.
22. Oil Intake Pipe 
    • Clean the screen if it is dirty.
23. Gasket 
    • Always replace.
    • In the oil baffle, mounted permanently, see "Oil Baffle" in item:  6.
24. O-ring 
    • Always replace.
25. O-ring 
    • No replacement part, part of the check valve.
26. Non-Return Valve 
    • Always replace.
    • Clipped into the oil baffle, see "Oil Baffle" in item:  6.
27. Oil Drain Plug 
    • 30 Nm
    • Always replace.
    • With a permanent seal.
28. Nut 
    • 9 Nm
    • Not available in the US/Canadian market.

-- Tighten the new bolts in 3 passes in sequence -1 through 20- as follows:

1. Tighten the bolts by hand 
2. Tighten the bolts to 8 Nm. 
3. Tighten the bolts an additional 45° (1/8) turn

-- Tighten the new bolts in 3 passes in sequence -1 through 14- as follows:

1. Tighten the bolts by hand 
2. Tighten the bolts to 15 Nm 
3. Tighten the bolts an additional 90° (1/4) turn
