Selector lever, disassembling and assembling: Notes

Selector lever must be removed to replace individual parts. See item 9 in Shift mechanism, disassembling and assembling .

- To remove, first remove Shiftlock Solenoid and indicator lighting -2-. Clamp set screw in vice and loosen by turning selector lever
- Install with thread-locking fluid AMV185 101 A1
- - Shiftlock Solenoid -N110-
- Can have single or two-part wiring harness

- Functional check. See Adjusting clearance between push rod and lever .
- Securing wiring harness to selector lever housing (Shiftlock Solenoid with single wiring harness). See Mounting wiring harness to selector lever housing .
- Secure indicator lighting connector. See Mounting indicator lighting connector .
- Can be checked electrically. See TRANSMISSION ELECTRICAL TESTING . And by reading measured value block. See Reading measured value block .
