Anti-theft alarm system overview: Notes

CAUTION:
Before working on the electrical system:
- Obtain radio anti-theft code.
- Ignition OFF !
- Disconnect battery Ground (GND) strap.
NOTE:
- After reconnecting battery:
- Activate vehicle equipment such as radio, clock and power windows as per appropriate article and/or Owner's Manual.
- On vehicles equipped with OBD II, activate readiness code. See READINESS CODE, CREATING in appropriate ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD) .
