Immobilizer Control Module, adjusting after replacing (code control module): Notes

NOTE:
- Observe procedure when changing lock set and Immobilizer Control Module.
- After changing Immobilizer Control Module adhere to following sequence:
- Match key. See IGNITION KEYS, MATCHING (ADAPTATION) .
- Coding control module. See CODING CONTROL MODULE .
- Match engine control module or fuel cut-off valve control module. See ENGINE CONTROL MODULE OR FUEL CUT-OFF VALVE CONTROL MODULE, PROCEDURE AFTER REPLACING .
- The Immobilizer Control Module must be matched, because of different baud rates (data transfer speed) between engine control module and fuel cut-off valve.
- All new Immobilizer Control Modules have a preset baud rate of 9600, which will be shown on the 2nd line as a code with the control module identification. See LIST OF SELECTABLE FUNCTIONS .
- Adaptation (matching) can be interrupted by pressing the -C- button on the VAG 1551 ST.
