Removing:
- Remove seat and backrest.
- Remove sill panel trim. See SILL PANEL TRIM, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Remove upper B-pillar trim. See GOLF 4-DOOR, JETTA .
- Remove upper C-pillar trim. See Golf, GTI (Golf) or, refer to JETTA (Jetta).
- Remove pin -2- and press buttons -3-.
- - Backrest locking pin
- - Press button
- Unscrew or push on
- - Securing eye
- Secured with rear sill panel trim plug.
