Checking resistance

Check resistance between terminals of solenoid valve.

Specified value: 23.0 to 26.0 Ω

If specified value is not obtained:

Replace Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Canister Purge Solenoid Valve -N115-. Refer to Parts of EVAP canister system (vehicles with engine code BJS), removing and installing , item 7
Erase DTC memory of Engine Control Module (ECM). Refer to Diagnostic mode 4: Reset/erase diagnostic data
Generate readiness code. Refer to Readiness code, generating

If specified value is obtained:

Check wires to control module according to wiring diagram. Refer to Check wires to control module .
