Read Measuring Value Block (function 08): Notes
WARNING:
- Check airbag system wiring by visual inspection only.
- Do not test continuity or resistance of airbag igniter circuits.
- Switch off ignition before checking routing of wiring.
- Connecting scan tool. See Scan tool, connecting VAG1551 or VAS5051 . Initiating On Board Diagnostic (OBD). See Airbag On Board Diagnostic (OBD), initiating .
Indicated on display:
- Press keys -0- and -8- to select "Read measuring value block" function).
Indicated on display:
- Confirm with -Q- button.
Indicated on display:
- Select display group number and confirm with -Q- button.
Indicated on display: (1...4 - Display zones)
The explanation of the individual display zones on the display is found in the evaluation of display group numbers.
NOTE:
Some indicated display groups are specific to the equipment level of the vehicle (e.g. side airbags).
If the displayed values in all display zones are "correct":
- Press -> key.

To change to another display group proceed as follows:
- Displayed after pressing C key.
