In Car Temperature Sensor and Solar Sensor Removal And Installation/Replacement

In car temperature sensor (1) 

Removal Procedure: 

1. Remove steering column upper and lower trim. Refer to STEERING COLUMN UPPER AND LOWER TRIM COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
2. Remove instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL KNEE BOLSTER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Remove instrument panel center air outlet. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER AIR OUTLET REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT

4. Reach through the recess in the middle of the instrument panel center air outlet and unlock and disconnect electrical connector (1).

5. Using a small screwdriver, enter from the left through the instrument panel and loosen the upper and lower retaining lugs (1) on the bracket of the in car temperature sensor.
6. Guide out and remove the in car temperature sensor (2) through the instrument panel center air outlet.

Installation Procedure: 

1. Installation is the reverse of removal procedure, noting the following.
2. Install instrument panel center air outlet. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER AIR OUTLET REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
3. Install instrument panel knee bolster. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL KNEE BOLSTER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
4. Install instrument panel center air outlet. Refer to INSTRUMENT PANEL CENTER AIR OUTLET REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION/REPLACEMENT
