Removal [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2022 - 11/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [11/2022 - 09/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 9 [09/2024 - ]

  2. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2022 - 09/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2 [09/2024 - ]

  3. DRAIN ENGINE OIL 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2

  4. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE AND TEMPERATURE SENSOR 

    See step  2

  5. DISCONNECT NO. 6 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 6 water by-pass hose from the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.

  6. DISCONNECT NO. 5 WATER BY-PASS HOSE

      Slide the clip and disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose from the oil cooler assembly.

  7. REMOVE OIL FILTER BRACKET SUB-ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 2 nuts, bolt and oil filter bracket sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 2 O-rings from the oil pan sub-assembly.

  8. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and oil cooler assembly from the oil filter bracket sub-assembly.

    2. Remove the 3 oil cooler gaskets from the oil cooler assembly.
