Removal [09/2022 - ]: Procedure

- REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 12 [09/2022 - 11/2022] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 20 [11/2022 - 09/2024] , or refer to PROCEDURE - Step 25 [09/2024 - ]
- REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (for Intake Side)
- REMOVE CAMSHAFT TIMING OIL CONTROL SOLENOID ASSEMBLY (for Exhaust Side)
- REMOVE O-RING
HINT:
Perform this procedure only when replacement of the O-ring is necessary.
- Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly.NOTE:
- When removing the O-ring, be careful not to damage the O-ring groove of the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly.
- If the O-ring groove of the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly is damaged, replace the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly with a new one.
- Remove the O-ring from the camshaft timing oil control solenoid assembly.
