Disassembly [10/2022 - ]: Procedure
- PRECAUTION NOTE:
After the ignition switch is turned off, there may be a waiting time before disconnecting the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- REMOVE REAR NO. 2 FLOOR BOARD
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 2
- REMOVE BATTERY HOLE COVER
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
- DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE AUXILIARY BATTERY TERMINAL
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE BEZEL
- REMOVE REAR DOOR ARMREST COVER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR TRIM BOARD SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Apply protective tape to the rear door panel as shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape - Disengage the 8 clips as shown in the illustration.
Place Hand Here Remove in this Direction - Disengage the 4 claws and 2 guides.
- Disconnect the connector.
*1 Rear Door Inside Locking Cable Assembly *2 Rear Door Lock Remote Control Cable Assembly Remove in this Direction - Disconnect the rear door lock remote control cable assembly and rear door inside locking cable assembly as shown in the illustration to remove the rear door trim board sub-assembly.
- Remove the 2 screws.
- REMOVE REAR POWER WINDOW REGULATOR SWITCH ASSEMBLY WITH REAR DOOR ARMREST BASE PANEL
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INSIDE HANDLE SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR INNER GLASS WEATHERSTRIP
- Using a clip remover with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the clip.
Protective Tape - Disengage the guide and disconnect the rear door weatherstrip as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the rear door inner glass weatherstrip with rear door front belt seal as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction
- Using a clip remover with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the clip.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT BELT SEAL
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR BELT SEAL
- REMOVE REAR SPEAKER ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 4
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SERVICE HOLE COVER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRAME GARNISH
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS RUN
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW DIVISION BAR SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW GLASS
- REMOVE REAR DOOR QUARTER WINDOW WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE HOLE PLUG
- REMOVE REAR DOOR GLASS SUB-ASSEMBLY
- Connect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
- Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON.
- Move the rear door glass sub-assembly so that the door glass bolts can be seen.
- Turn the ignition switch off.
- Disconnect the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
- Disconnect the rear power window regulator switch assembly.
- Remove the 2 bolts.NOTE:
After the bolts are removed, do not allow the rear door glass sub-assembly to fall.
- Remove the rear door glass sub-assembly as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Do not damage the rear door glass sub-assembly.
Remove in this Direction
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW REGULATOR ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY
Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 16
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE ASSEMBLY
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
Protective Tape - Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disconnect the connector.
Protective Tape - Disengage the 2 claws and move the lever as shown in the illustration.
- Remove the rear door outside handle assembly as shown in the illustration.
Remove in this Direction
- Using a screwdriver with its tip wrapped with protective tape, disengage the 2 claws as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE COVER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR FRONT OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
- REMOVE REAR DOOR REAR OUTSIDE HANDLE PAD
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE HANDLE FRAME SUB-ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR CHECK ASSEMBLY
- REMOVE REAR DOOR WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE REAR DOOR NO. 3 WEATHERSTRIP
- REMOVE DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING CLIP
- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOCK CHILD PROTECTION COVER
- REMOVE REAR DOOR PANEL CUSHION
- REMOVE REAR DOOR BELT MOULDING ASSEMBLY

- REMOVE REAR DOOR LOWER OUTSIDE STRIPE

- REMOVE REAR DOOR OUTSIDE STRIPE

- REMOVE REAR INNER BLACK OUT TAPE

- REMOVE REAR DOOR WINDOW FRAME MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY
