Removal [08/2015 - ]: Procedure

  1. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE UNDER COVER 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 18

  2. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the bolt, clamp and gasket.
    2. Remove the tailpipe from the center exhaust pipe and 2 exhaust pipe supports.
  3. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE DAMPER 
    1. Remove the 2 bolts with the exhaust pipe damper from the tailpipe.

  4. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Remove the 4 bolts and 2 compression springs.
    2. Remove the center exhaust pipe from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.
    3. Remove the 2 gaskets from the front exhaust pipe and front No. 2 exhaust pipe.
  5. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
    3. Remove the 3 nuts, front No. 2 exhaust pipe and gasket from the exhaust manifold LH.
  6. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY 
    1. Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.
    2. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.
    3. Detach the heated oxygen sensor wire harness clamp.
    4. Remove the 3 nuts, front exhaust pipe and gasket from the exhaust manifold RH.
  7. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6

  8. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  9. REMOVE NO. 2 HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 7

  10. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) 

    Refer to PROCEDURE - Step 6
